| Ingredients: |
|
1.5kg potatoes
125g butter
200ml milk
45ml sweet whole grain mustard
4 onions, skinned, halved and sliced lengthways
30ml olive oil
Butter to serve
Salt and pepper to taste |
| Method: |
|
1.Boil the potatoes in salted water unitl tender for about 30 minutes.
2.Drain and peel.
3.Mash with butter, milk and mustard. Season
4.Whilst the potatoes are still cooking fry the onions in the oil until soft.
5.Serve on top of the mash with a knob of butter
6.Serve with grilled sausages |
