Fuel behind industry sustainability

In the current farming experience, anyone who cannot channel innovation and entrepreneurship into profit that will add to the growth of his enterprise, has had it. Size and scale remain an important power in taming overhead costs. The size of farming enterprises and risky environment within which they operate puts tremendous pressure on our sustainability heritage, the envisioned inheritance of the laborers of agricultural land.

Never before have we had this much sustainability pressure on our farming enterprise. The environment in which we have to operate becomes increasingly complex, from climate change, rising input costs, effective resource utilisation, social challenges, the moving of research and development from the state to the individual, etc. What will the future of our coming farmers look like?

The learned people are already talking about sustainability in terms of the “triple bottom line” of enterprises. As per definition we should look at sustainability from three sources, namely economy, environment and society.

.Sustainability is not only environment; also not only one of the other two in isolation, but rather a well balanced focus and view of all three.
