Statistics presented on this page represent a production season from 1 July to 30 June the following year.

The Limpopo Province is not an important area with regard to the production of seed potatoes.  Early generation seed is multiplied in the winter months.  Fields registered for seed potato production are planted during March and April to be harvested during September and October.
