Projects
At the beginning of every year (February/ March) the Transformation committee meets to determine priorities for that specific year. The priorities need to be aligned to the strategy and these translate into projects. The projects are determined by the needs in the production regions. Certain projects are region specific while others addresses national priorities.
Once the priorities are determined by the Transformation Committee the projects proposal are tabled at the meetings of the Board of Potatoes South Africa and the Potato Industry Development Trust (PIDT) for approval. The implementation of projects begins in July and ends in June of the next year in line with our financial calendar.
