Potatoes South Africa Innovation Symposium 2025

By Jandrie Klopper | August 14, 2025

Theme: Evolve | Innovate | Enable

Potatoes SA proudly hosted the Innovation Symposium 2025, an event that brought together agricultural leaders, researchers, farmers, and industry stakeholders to explore innovative solutions and ideas shaping the future of the South African potato industry.

The symposium offered a platform for knowledge sharing, collaboration, and networking. The event commenced with a commemoration of 30 years of the potato certification service, succeeded by a sequence of sessions led by experts, keynote speakers, and panel discussions that centred on the primary themes of the symposium: “Evolve, innovate, and enable”.

The symposium concluded with two networking evenings hosted by John Deere and UPL respectively, featuring wine pairings, special guest appearances, and the celebration of industry achievements.

We extend our sincere gratitude to all our sponsors who partnered with us and contributed to the success of the Innovation Symposium.
