Exclusively available to producers listing their fresh produce on Nile’s online platform, our new Get Paid Sooner feature enables producers to request early settlement on their account, which means they can receive payment either the next morning or within 24 hours of their request. It is quick, easy and helps give them the cash they need when they need it most. Producers have the added benefit of being able to use the proceeds instantly to procure inputs through Nile’s input marketplace.
While producers’ early payment request is free of charge once per season, additional requests are charged at a nominal fee to recoup the transaction cost. The benefit is simple: It gives producers more flexibility and greater financial control.
Producers face real-world cashflow challenges. Input costs, wages, transport, and day-to-day operations do not wait for delayed payments.

The platform is also transparent, with producers able to see exactly how much they will get paid per day. Delivery notes are loaded on the platform alongside digital invoices and remittances, making it easy to reconcile receipts of funds.
